Our Story

We started Tanrido in 2020 — a year that taught everyone, including us, just how important it is to get what you need without leaving home.

We launched on established marketplaces like Amazon, selling to customers across Canada. It was a fast education. We figured out what people actually wanted: products that showed up as described, orders that arrived on time, and a seller who would make things right if they didn’t. We focused on those three things and built a reputation around them.

Over time, the marketplaces gave us reach — but not enough room. We couldn’t tell our story, tailor the experience, or connect with our customers the way we wanted to. So in 2024, we launched tanrido.com.

Our own store means we control everything: the products we carry, the way we describe them, the shipping partners we trust, and the support we offer. If something isn’t good enough, we can fix it — without waiting for a platform to approve a change.

We’re still a small, Alberta-based team. That’s not a limitation — it’s why we care about every order.
